Mission
We aim to transform perinatal care and reduce avoidable maternal morbidity and mortality in partnership with communities by turning data into action using a human-in-the-loop AI approach centered on the patient.
Vision
We envision a data-driven future where every family receives excellent and equitable care during pregnancy and birth that leads to healthier beginnings.
Why We Exist
Over 80% of maternal morbidity and deaths are preventable through routine prenatal care. However, improvement efforts miss critical opportunities due to data gaps. Electronic health record (EHR) data underrepresent mental health diagnoses, unmet social needs, and prenatal care quality, limiting opportunities to intervene. Patient perspectives are also notably missing from discussions about care innovation and quality.
